Tausende Roma migrieren aus den Ländern Südosteuropas, sie fliehen vor Armut und Diskriminierung, auf der Suche nach einem besseren Leben. Im Nationalsozialismus massenhaft in Konzentrationslager gesperrt und getötet, grassiert auch zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts noch in ganz Europa der Antiziganismus. Die deutsche Bundesregierung hat dagegen Länder wie Serbien zu “sicheren Herkunftsstaaten” erklärt – mit der Folge, dass so gut wie alle Asylanträge von Menschen aus diesen Staaten abgelehnt werden. Auch in Hamburg sind Abschiebungen und Ausreiseaufforderungen Alltag. Doch einige Roma nehmen das nicht mehr hin! In einer Unterkunft von “Fördern & Wohnen” in Farmsen protestierten am heutigen 17. Juni rund 50 Betroffene gegen Abschiebungen und für ein Bleiberecht. Unterstützen wir sie in ihrem Kampf!

Thousands of Roma are migrating from countries of southeastern Europe, they flee from poverty and discrimination, looking for a better life. During the Nazi-regime, they were forced in concentration camps and killed, and still at the beginning of the 21st century, antiziganism is rampant. But the German government declared countries like Serbia to “safe states of origin” – with the effect that nearly every application for asylum by people from these countries are denied. Also in Hamburg, deportations and orders to leave the country are everyday practices. In a refugee accommodation from “Fördern & Wohnen” in Farmsen, about 50 affected people protested today, on the 17st of June, against deportations and for a right to stay. Let´s support them in their struggle!
